School Calendar

The Howard County Arts Center will be closed on Sept. 6, Nov. 26, Dec. 24-27, Jan. 1, Jan 17, Feb. 21, and May 30. There will be no classes on the above dates.

Youth Classes 2010-2011

Youth Division classes are organized into three 12 week sessions. We ask that as you plan for the year, to think of the three sessions as a year long commitment. Tuition will be due the first week of each session. Scheduled breaks are built into the 12 week sessions. Due to Monday holidays and the needs of the Arts Council, the tuition rate for Monday classes is prorated. If you take a Monday class, please contact an administrator for your rate. Discount rates are also available for siblings.

Fall Session Tuesday, September 7- Sunday, December 5
Fall Break: November 23-27 No classes: November 25

Winter Session Monday, December 6- Sunday, March 13

Winter Break- Dec. 21- Jan 2, No Classes: Dec 25, Dec 27, Dec 31, Jan 1, Jan 17, Feb. 21

Spring Session Monday, March 14-Monday, June 13

Spring Break- April 18-25, No Class:, May 30

Adult Classes 2010-2011

Adult Division classes are offered throughout the calendar year. Classes at the Int/Adv level are ongoing when the youth division classes are on break. As an adult, you may chose to adhere to the youth schedule and payments or you may chose to purchase a 10 class card. With the class card, you are free to take class when you choose without the hassle of making up missed classes.
